Achieving this milestone in just 15 weeks sets a new speed record for the studio, with Dune: Part Two grossing $411.8M offshore and dominating the global box office for three consecutive weekends.
Other top movies produced by Warner Bros. pictures in 2024 include; Furiosa, The Watchers, The Lord Of The Rings, Joker: Folie a Deux, Horizon, Twisters, and Alto Knights among many others.
Marvel is on the other hand planning a Meta gag for the release of Deadpool 3, aiming to top previous pop culture references seen in the franchise.
The upcoming film known as Deadpool and Wolverine will feature a deliberately questionable popcorn bucket, reminiscent of past meta jokes seen in the series.
According to reports from CinemaCon 2024, the popcorn bucket will be intentionally crude and lewd, adding to the film’s signature humor.
Ryan Reynolds teased the popcorn bucket back in February, hinting at the absurdity in store.
